개인정보처리방침

HoneyPod 앱은 사용자의 개인정보 보호를 최우선으로 합니다. 본 방침은 앱 사용과 관련된 개인정보 처리에 관한 안내입니다.

1. 수집하는 정보

HoneyPod는 사용자의 개인정보(이름, 이메일, 전화번호 등)를 수집하지 않습니다.

앱 정상 작동을 위해 다음 정보가 기기 내부에 저장됩니다:

  • 구독한 팟캐스트 목록 및 에피소드 청취 기록 (기기 로컬 DB)
  • 재생 위치, 재생 큐 등 재생 설정 (기기 내부)
  • 국가 선택, 테마 등 앱 설정값 (기기 내부)
  • 스트리밍 성능을 위한 미디어 캐시 (기기 내부, 앱 삭제 시 함께 삭제)

위 데이터는 외부 서버로 전송되지 않으며, 앱 삭제 시 모두 삭제됩니다.

2. 앱 권한

  • 인터넷: 팟캐스트 피드 다운로드 및 에피소드 스트리밍
  • 저장소 / 오디오 파일 접근: 기기에 저장된 로컬 오디오 파일 탐색 및 재생
  • 알림: 구독한 팟캐스트의 새 에피소드 알림 및 재생 컨트롤 표시 (사용자가 허용한 경우)
  • 포그라운드 서비스 (미디어 재생): 화면이 꺼져 있거나 다른 앱을 사용하는 동안 오디오 재생 유지
  • 절전 모드 해제: 재생 중 기기가 절전 상태로 전환되어 재생이 끊기는 것을 방지

3. 제3자 서비스

HoneyPod는 다음 제3자 서비스를 사용합니다:

이들 서비스는 각각의 개인정보처리방침에 따라 데이터를 처리합니다. 팟캐스트 오디오와 이미지는 각 팟캐스트 제작자의 서버에서 직접 전송되며, HoneyPod는 이를 중계하지 않습니다.

4. Android TV 및 Android Auto

HoneyPod는 Android TV와 Android Auto를 지원합니다. 해당 환경에서도 위와 동일한 방침이 적용되며, 추가로 수집하는 정보는 없습니다. Android TV에서는 Cast 및 Firebase 기능이 비활성화됩니다.

5. 광고 맞춤화

Google AdMob이 기기의 광고 식별자(GAID)를 사용하여 맞춤 광고를 제공할 수 있습니다. Android 설정 → Google → 광고 에서 광고 식별자 재설정 또는 맞춤 광고를 거부할 수 있습니다.

6. 데이터 보안

모든 사용자 데이터는 기기 내부에만 저장되며, 외부로 전송되지 않습니다. Apple iTunes, PodcastIndex, AdMob, Firebase 등 제3자 서비스와의 통신은 HTTPS로 암호화됩니다.

7. 아동 개인정보

HoneyPod는 만 14세 미만 아동을 대상으로 하지 않으며, 의도적으로 아동의 개인정보를 수집하지 않습니다.

8. 방침 변경

본 개인정보처리방침은 법령 변경 또는 서비스 변경에 따라 업데이트될 수 있습니다. 중요한 변경 사항은 앱 업데이트 노트를 통해 안내합니다.

Privacy Policy

HoneyPod is committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains how information is handled when you use our app.

Effective Date: August 31, 2026

1. Information We Collect

HoneyPod does not collect personal information (name, email, phone number, etc.).

The following data is stored locally on your device to enable core functionality:

  • Subscribed podcasts and episode listening history (local device DB)
  • Playback position, queue, and other playback preferences (local)
  • App settings such as country selection and theme (local)
  • Media cache for smoother streaming (local, removed when the app is uninstalled)

This data never leaves your device and is deleted when you uninstall the app.

2. App Permissions

  • Internet: Download podcast feeds and stream episodes
  • Storage / Audio files: Browse and play audio files stored on your device
  • Notifications: New episode alerts for your subscriptions and playback controls (only if you grant permission)
  • Foreground Service (media playback): Keep audio playing while the screen is off or you use other apps
  • Wake Lock: Prevent the device from sleeping and interrupting playback

3. Third-Party Services

HoneyPod uses the following third-party services:

  • Apple iTunes Search API: Podcast search and metadata (Apple Privacy Policy)
  • PodcastIndex API: Supplementary podcast discovery (Privacy Policy)
  • Google AdMob: Ad delivery — uses advertising ID (GAID) only (Google Privacy Policy)
  • Google Cast (Chromecast): Stream audio to external devices (only when you use the feature)
  • Firebase Analytics: Anonymized app usage statistics (Firebase Privacy Policy)
  • Firebase Crashlytics: Anonymized crash reporting
  • Firebase Remote Config: Remote management of app settings (no personal data collected)

Each service operates under its own privacy policy. Podcast audio and images are delivered directly from each publisher's servers; HoneyPod does not relay them.

4. Android TV and Android Auto

HoneyPod supports Android TV and Android Auto. The same policy applies in those environments, and no additional information is collected. Cast and Firebase features are disabled on Android TV.

5. Personalized Ads

Google AdMob may use your device's advertising ID (GAID) to show personalized ads. You can reset your advertising ID or opt out of personalized ads in Android Settings → Google → Ads.

6. Data Security

All user data is stored locally on your device and never transmitted externally. Communications with Apple iTunes, PodcastIndex, AdMob, and Firebase are encrypted via HTTPS.

7. Children's Privacy

HoneyPod is not directed at children under 14, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

8. Policy Changes

This privacy policy may be updated in response to changes in law or service. Significant changes will be communicated through app update notes.
